The ArmTrainer improves mind-muscle connection by forcing slower, more controlled movements, impeding your ability to unconsciously use momentum and swing the weights during the lift. It acts as a pivot in a lever system, concentrating the full force on the biceps and preventing the deltoids from taking on the bigger portion of the load.

To achieve perfectly shaped biceps, you also must target the muscle from the full spectrum of angles. The ArmTrainer allows you to train your biceps from the three main angles - standing curls, preacher curls, and incline curls. So I’ll start off with this is probably the best arm blaster out there. The inside connectors are plastic and I wish they were metal for the cost, but the pads make it very comfortable on your elbows even at heavier weight and strapping it around your torso instead of your neck is a game changer. That said, I didn’t have the best success attaching it to incline bench. I have a rogue incline bench and metal edges cut into the foam pads of the device almost immediately. It also means that more depth you have behind the bench (rogue incline means about 6-9 invhes) the further back your elbows need to be to make contact with the pads when seated. It gets pretty awkward for use with that incline bench. Turning around to face the bench isn’t much better. Not only is awkward to have your face mashed into a bench doing curls but you find yourself clipping bench at the top of the curl. Will I still use it as an arm blaster? Definitely. Would I buy it again? Yes, but just for the arm blaster function. Would I buy it again at that price? No, I problem wouldn’t have paid more than $100 for it knowing about the llastic connectors and that it is ultimately just a very comfy arm blaster.

I am so happy I stumbled upon this. There are plenty of ways to get the job done in a garage gym but the NoCo Arm Trainer is a great new find for me. I was waiting for UPS and Upon receiving it , went to work. The construction is durable, and the multi-purpose uses are just what I was looking for. I was going to get a different piece of equipment that fit onto my bench, for just preacher curls, but then I saw this and so glad I waited. Definitely impressed and sent a separate note immediately to the company thanking them for such a great piece of gear. Ingenious design that allows for a lot of creativity. The arm trainer by No Conformity is better than I expected. It's not as limited as the traditional arm trainer, and take pressure off your neck, due to the fact that it doesn't have a neck strap.

This piece of equipment definitely helps target biceps directly and I will be adding it as part of my regular routine. Attaching it to the bench works well. I do think that it should be made in at least two different sizes. If you have a bigger chest the curve of the trainer is not deep enough and it pushes the arms out unnaturally.
